As we kick-off 2025 I share that I have stepped down from my role as an advisor on the board of Ebanman. Serving this incredible organization, which celebrates and uplifts the lives of professional Black gay/queer men, has been a true honor and privilege.

Ebanman’s mission of fostering community, visibility, and empowerment for Black gay/queer men resonates deeply with me. Over the years, I’ve not only contributed to the vision of Ebanman but also had the profound opportunity to build relationships with Black men across the Diaspora. These connections have been a powerful reminder of our shared beginnings and the beauty of our diverse journeys, cultures, and identities as Black gay/queer men.

Through Ebanman, I’ve witnessed firsthand the importance of creating spaces where our shared heritage is celebrated, where our stories are told authentically, and where our community is empowered to thrive. These relationships have enriched my life and reaffirmed the importance of global solidarity within our community.

While my role may be ending, my admiration for Ebanman and its work remains unwavering. To the Ebanman: thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey. I am excited to see how Ebanman continues to grow and inspire.

This is not goodbye—it’s a moment of transition, making space for new voices and fresh perspectives to guide Ebanman into its next chapter. I will always be a champion for its mission and look forward to cheering on its continued success.
