Densil Porteous is an advocate in the LGBTQ+ community, particularly known for his work in advancing diversity and inclusion. He is the CEO of Pride Fund 1, a venture fund that supports diverse entrepreneurs within the LGBTQ+ community, and also serves as the Executive Director of Stonewall Columbus, an LGBTQ+ community center in Columbus, Ohio. His career has spanned roles in higher education administration, strategic marketing, and development, with institutions such as Kenyon College, Stanford University, and the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University.

Born in Jamaica, Densil is a naturalized American citizen of Afro-Caribbean descent and identifies as Jewish. Recently, he has expressed interest in expanding his work through writing, including a potential series of books on themes like identity, leadership, and LGBTQ+ rights.
