I took a break from my morning, to read the former First Lady of California’s post… A short five minute read later and I found myself inspired.
Over the last few months I have found that I have held back my light, my power. I hadn’t been able to give word to the feeling…until I read Shriver’s post. The idea that we may, sometimes, hold back from sharing our full selfs for fear of other’s response to our power.
Shriver writes “I share this story because I know there is something in each of us that we are scared to let out, so terrified are we of the power within us. We may think it’s anger or rage. It might be, but it’s also our truth. It’s our personal power.”
““Go on,” she said. “Step into what’s inside of you. Don’t be scared of it, go for it! The time for dimming is over. The time for dazzling is now.”
