Leave it to Forbes.com to make a list of their own list. Yes Forbes launched their “Most Powerful People” list and it seems some people have fallen from the ranks and one young man has jumped on up.

I would like to personally welcome Mark Zuckerberg to the list. Zuckerberg is the youngest on the list at 27 with the Co-Founders of Google as the second youngest–both age 39; Mark is also ranked number 9 on the list.

Ten people fell off the list of the world’s most powerful last year due to declining influence. This included folks both living and dead… Notably off the list are Apple cofounder Steve Jobs (Feb. 24, 1955 – Oct. 5, 2011) and Osama bin Laden (Mar. 10, 1947 – May 2, 2011). The person that truly shocked me was media personality Oprah Winfrey. I suppose not being on day-time television on a daily basis means you have lost your ability to influence people…somehow I don’t agree with that methodology of thinking since the woman owns a media empire! Personally I am just glad to see U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is still on the list at number 16–her husband, former President of the U.S. Bill Clinton, is at 60.
