What!! No more KiKi!!!
Singer Ana Matronic suggests band could be on indefinite hiatus.
Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and Co made the announcement at their show at Camden’s Roundhouse in London last night (24th October) – stating they have no further plans to work together.
The pop group, who released latest album ‘Magic Hour‘ earlier this year, headlined a second night at London’s Roundhouse venue on Wednesday night (Oct 24). Ana Matronic told attendees: “This will be the last time we will play in London for quite some time,” before going on to say that UK fans will always have a special place in Scissor Sisters hearts for being, “The ones who got us first – and always get us best.”
In recent months
seeming front man Jake Shears launched out on several individual projects including the musical version of Armistead Maupin Tales of the City. And the group seemed to still be on a meteoric rise after its hit single Let’s Have a Kiki [soon to be sung by Sarah Jessica Parker on an upcoming episode of Glee]. This news, if true, comes as a complete shock to many fans.
