With more than 800 million users, the population of Sub-Saharan Africa in 2007, Facebook is its own country. (Sub-Saharan Africa as a geographical term refers to the area of the African continent which lies south of the Sahara.) While there may be no official leadership there is fully a democracy that exists and allows the population to direct some of the policies. Like any democracy somethings just are because they are and there is little to change those things.
